Laure Davoust

(Rambler) Large cascading clusters of clear lavender-pink, double, cupped flowers paling attractively with age to blush white. Plentiful foliage. Healthy.

Evangeline

(Wichurana Rambler) Healthy, leathery foliage providing an ideal foil for the clusters of semi-single, creamy-white, flushed pink flowers. Flowering, with advantage, rather later in the season than most of its type.

Alexander Girault

(Wichurana Rambler) The flowers have a strong fruity scent and are double with muddled petals of an attractive but unusual mixture of deep rose pink and copper. Vigorous with dark green foliage, so excellent for growing up into trees. Also suitable for growing against a north wall. Shade and poor soil tolerant. Bred by Barbier.

Excelsa

(Wichurana Rambler) Large trusses of small, light cerise crimson flowers on spindly but strong shoots. Very vigorous. A long flowering season, then occasional repeats, until winter.
