A Look Back At This Year’s Show Season

As another show season draws to a close, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate all of our team’s wonderful achievements so far this year. From new rose releases to exciting tv appearances and even attending two new RHS shows, this year has been full of excitement.

Three Beautiful New Roses

2026 has been another exciting year for our new rose releases. We started the season by announcing the release of our stunning Kate Moss rose and then followed this with the launch of our BBC ‘The One Show Rose’. Then, when everyone thought we were finished for the year, we announced the release of our gorgeous La Madeleine rose at the RHS Sandringham Flower Show.

All three of these roses are beautiful, new additions to our collection and a testament to our breeding team and the commitment they dedicate to their craft.

Our 31st Gold Medal

We are delighted to have won our 31st gold medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show for our biggest stand to date, as well as another two additional gold medals at BBC Gardener’s World Live and the first ever RHS Badminton Flower Show.

This is a fantastic achievement for us as a company and wouldn’t have been possible without our Rosarians and our dedicated show team, who spent days creating each display from scratch.

Master Grower at the RHS Sandringham Flower Show

At the first official RHS Sandringham Flower Show, we had the honour of being named Master Grower, which allowed us to create a unique display that showcased the care and attention that goes into our breeding programme and nurtured our ongoing relationship with the royal family.

This has been an immense privilege for Peter Beales Roses and we have thoroughly enjoyed sharing a glimpse into our processes with visitors to the show.

Lots Of Famous Faces

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is always a star-studded affair and we had a wonderful time chatting with a range of famous faces and showing them around this year’s display. Our 2026 rose launches have also presented us with some wonderful opportunities, including being featured on The One Show and BBC Gardener’s World.

Ian Limmer Celebrated 50 Years At Peter Beales Roses

2026 marks fifty years since our Head Rosarian, Ian Limmer, joined the team at Peter Beales and started working with roses. To commemorate such a monumental occasion, Keith Weed, President of the RHS, presented Ian with a certificate and medal for fifty years of service in horticulture and the occasion was celebrated in a TV feature on BBC Gardener’s World.

Partnerships with local businesses

We have partnered with some fantastic independent businesses this show season to elevate our displays of beautiful roses to the next level.

Throughout the show season, all of the metal work featured on our displays has been generously provided by Harrod Horticultural, including the stunning pergola and table set that formed the backdrop for our roses at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

At the RHS Sandringham Flower Show, we had the privilege of collaborating with Rhino Greenhouses to bring the vision of our Master Grower display to life by showcasing how our greenhouses are at the heart of our breeding and growing processes.

And last but not least, the stunning water feature intertwined with our BBC ‘The One Show 20th Rose’ formed the centrepiece of our display at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and was carefully created and supplied by Foras.
