Can I bring my dog to Peter Beales?

Yes we allow well-behaved dogs on a lead in our Gardens, Rosarium Restaurant and throughout the garden centre. 

Are your gardens free to enter?

Yes, our gardens are completely free to enter. You can find them by walking through the garden centre. 

Are you open seven days a week?

Yes we are open seven days a week. The gardens and garden centre are open 9am until 5pm Monday to Saturday and 9am until 4pm every Sunday. The Rosarium Restaurant is open 9am to 4:30pm Monday to Saturday and 9am until 3:30pm every Sunday. The only exception to this is Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. 

Are you open on bank holidays?

Yes, we are open on every bank holiday and normal opening hours apply. The only exception to this is Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

When is the best time of year to see the rose garden?

The best time to see the rose gardens in full bloom is from the end of May through to the middle of June. This does depend on the weather we have had during Spring, though. Every year we have a Rose Festival in the gardens over a weekend in June to celebrate the gardens at their best. Can I take photos in the rose gardens?

Absolutely! We are more than happy for members of the public to take photos in our rose gardens. If you are a professional photographer wanting to hold a photoshoot in our gardens, please contact chris.heywood@peterbealesroses.com for permission prior to your visit.

Is your site wheelchair accessible?

Yes, our gardens, Rosarium Restaurant and garden centre are all wheelchair accessible.

Can we have our wedding or event at Peter Beales Roses?

Unfortunately, we don't have the required licenses to host weddings on our site. For any other events, please contact chris.heywood@peterbealesroses.com. 

Do you have to book a table in the restaurant?

Whilst booking is not mandatory at our Rosarium Restaurant, we strongly advise booking in advance to guarantee a table, especially during busy periods. You can book a table by calling 01953 454707 (extension 4) or by emailing rosarium@peterbealesroses.com 

Do you cater to vegan and gluten-free diets?

Yes we are able to cater to a range of dietary requirements including gluten free, dairy free and vegan restrictions. When eating in our restaurant, we ask that you speak to a member of our team about your dietary requirements prior to order your food and drinks.
