A Legacy of Rose Expertise

Founded in 1968, Peter Beales Roses has grown to become a world-renowned authority on classic roses. The business was born from a passion for preserving traditional and rare rose varieties, and that same commitment continues to thrive today.

What began as a small, family-run nursery has evolved into an internationally recognised rose specialist, with a deep understanding of both heritage and modern varieties. Our collection includes thousands of roses, from timeless Old Roses to contemporary climbers and shrub roses, all nurtured with the same dedication to quality.

Peter Beales Roses In Norfolk

Located in the heart of Norfolk, the Peter Beales nursery has become a destination for rose enthusiasts from around the world. Our gardens showcase the beauty and diversity of the roses we grow, offering visitors the chance to explore and experience the splendour of our plants in their natural environment.

A Royal History

A proud highlight of our history is the longstanding connection with the Royal Family. Our team has had the privilege of showcasing our award-winning roses at Sandringham and meeting members of the Royal Family at prestigious flower shows such as the Chelsea Flower Show. Over the years, Her Majesty The Queen, Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, and King Charles III have all expressed their admiration for our roses, often stopping to chat with our team about the varieties we grow. Their support and appreciation of our work have been a true honour, reflecting the high standard of roses we continue to cultivate.

Nearly 60 Years of Expertise

At Peter Beales Roses, we take pride in cultivating not only stunning roses but also strong relationships with our customers. Whether you are a first-time gardener or a seasoned professional, we are here to guide you through the journey of choosing, planting, and caring for your roses. Our expertise is passed down through generations, ensuring that the values and passion that Peter Beales himself established continue to bloom in every rose we grow.

We believe that every rose deserves the best possible start. That’s why we follow a meticulous planting process, carefully ‘heeling in’ the roses before they are planted to ensure strong, healthy growth. This traditional technique allows the roses to establish themselves in the best conditions, producing vibrant blooms year after year.
