There’s no better way to enjoy roses and companion plants than from our two-acre display gardens.
At Peter Beales, we’ve carefully designed a selection of specially tailored tours and refreshment packages for coach parties and group bookings. These tours are led by our dedicated team of experts and provide an engaging and informative insight into both our gardens and the history of our roses.

Seasonal Garden Tour for Groups
Our Seasonal Garden Tours are available all year round, Monday to Friday, and require pre-booking. A minimum of 15 people is needed, and please allow at least 1 hour for the tour. The price Seasonal garden tour £12pp
Led by one of our knowledgeable Rosarians, your group will be guided through our beautiful two-acre display gardens, highlighting particular roses of interest that are relevant to the season of your visit, including cultivars from our extensive collection of wild roses (Rosa species). The tour concludes with a practical cultivation demonstration and an opportunity to have any rose-related questions answered.
Teas and Tours for Groups
Teas and Tours are available from June to September, Monday to Friday, with start times at either 10.30am or 2.30pm. Pre-booking is required, with a minimum of 15 people. Please allow at least 1.5 hours for the experience.
From June to September, our ‘Seasonal Tour’ can be enhanced to include filter coffee or tea and a slice of Victoria Sponge, served upon arrival while one of our knowledgeable Rosarians conducts a practical demonstration. A comprehensive guided tour of our picturesque gardens will follow.

Garden and lunch tours for Groups
Garden and Lunch Tours for Groups are available from June to September, starting at 11am, Monday to Friday. Pre-booking is required, with a minimum of 15 people. Please allow at least 2.5 hours for the experience.
If your group is looking for a longer visit during the summer months, why not combine the ‘Seasonal Tour’ with a delicious two-course set lunch served in our lovely marquee? This package includes a full guided tour and allows your party time to relax and enjoy lunch in the gardens.

Cream Tea and Tour for Groups
Our ‘Cream Tea & Tour’, and who can resist a delightful cream tea? This is an upgrade to our ‘Tea & Tour’ and is served in our marquee. This package includes a full guided tour followed by the delicious cream tea.
