A Right Royal Honour at Chelsea Flower Show 2025

We were absolutely delighted to welcome His Majesty King Charles III to the Peter Beales Roses stand at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show – a truly proud and unforgettable moment for our entire team.
His Majesty took time to admire our display, meet with Head Rosarian Ian Limmer and his wife Tina, and celebrate the horticultural passion that connects so many of us across the UK. It was a great privilege to share our latest blooms with the King, especially during such a momentous week in which we also received our 30th RHS Chelsea Gold Medal.
A Longstanding Royal Connection
While this royal visit was certainly a highlight, our connection with the Royal Family goes back many years. We’ve proudly worked alongside the team at Sandringham, the Royal Family’s private estate in Norfolk, for several seasons. In fact, we even introduced a rose named in honour of the royal residence – the elegant and richly scented ‘Sandringham’ Rose – which remains a popular choice for customers looking to bring a touch of regal charm to their own gardens.
Peter Beales Roses is also a regular exhibitor at the Sandringham Flower Show, a prestigious summer event held within the grounds of the estate. It’s a highlight of our events calendar, and one that deepens our connection with this historic Royal household.
Fit for a King or Queen
In honour of the Royal Family and their ongoing support of British horticulture, we grow and offer several roses that are truly fit for royalty, including:
Sandringham – a classic, richly coloured bloom with heritage charm
Queen Elizabeth – soft, blush-pink petals with a delicate scent
Royal William – deep crimson-red with strong fragrance
Royal Parfuma – luxuriously perfumed with an old-fashioned bloom form
Whether you’re commemorating a special occasion, planting in memory, or simply adding a touch of royal elegance to your garden, these roses are a noble choice.
