Chelsea Flower Show 2025 – Day One Behind the Scenes

Day one of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show got off to a fantastic start for Team Peter Beales!

Our team was split into two groups – each playing a crucial part in bringing our award-winning display to life.

Back at our Norfolk greenhouses, one team worked tirelessly conditioning the roses, carefully watering them and ensuring every single bloom looked its absolute best before being packed and sent on its journey to London.

Meanwhile at the showground, our stand team got to work laying out the floor plan and positioning the ironwork, creating the perfect structure for our iconic display. With sunshine and temperatures in the 20s, they even had time to begin placing the very first roses – beautifully adorning the arches and keeping everything topped up with water to beat the heat.

It’s a true team effort, and we can’t wait to share more behind-the-scenes updates as the show unfolds!
