RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2023 Press Day

Celebrating our 28th Gold Medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower 2023 Peter Beales Roses are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded our 28th Gold Medal at the prestigious RHS Chelsea Flower Show. The 2023 exhibit was created over the course of a week using over 800 old-fashioned and contemporary roses, coaxed and nurtured into full bloom by Michael Baldwin, Hybridization Manager. The Chelsea Chop

Normally by now the Roses would have returned from the RHS Chelsea flower show and if they hadn’t already had the Chelsea Chop, then they would be trimmed over the next few weeks. “What is the Chelsea Chop?” I hear you all ask. RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2002

In 2002 we introduced the rose St Ethelburga at the request of The Worshipful Company of Gardeners and was launched by Jenny Agutter. It is named for the church of the same name in Bishopsgate London. Largely destroyed by a bomb, it is now restored and a Centre for Peace and Reconciliation. Back to  RHS Chelsea Flower Show History
