Classic Garden Elements Charleston Rose Obelisk

Embodying Southern grandeur and timeless craftsmanship, this robust spiral obelisk is engineered to tame even the most exuberant climbers and ramblers. Built from 3.15” (8 cm) steel tubing and reinforced with 0.79” (2 cm) diagonal steel bands, its hot-dip galvanized frame is powder-coated in classic black for enduring elegance. Topped with a finely detailed aluminium pinecone finial, this single-piece structure delivers both strength and sophistication, ideal for gardens, parks, or upscale commercial landscapes.

Design & Heritage
Inspired by 19th-century Charleston rose-training techniques, its spiral steel bands guide climbing roses like Noisette and Tea varieties to grow upward in a controlled, graceful sweep. This design encourages lateral budding for dense foliage and abundant blooms while preventing unruly growth. A nod to history, it revives the wooden pillars once used by Southern gardeners to cultivate legendary roses.

Industrial-Strength Installation
Designed for heavy-duty use, the Charleston requires anchoring with the included steel ground spike, secured permanently in concrete for stability. Available in two sizes (customisable height/diameter), it accommodates everything from compact climbers to towering ramblers. Consult our team for tailored recommendations.

Durability & Customization

• 10-year rust-proof guarantee ensures longevity in all climates.

• Custom colours available to match garden themes or architectural accents.

Gardening Mastery

• Train for abundance: Bend shoots horizontally along spiral bands to stimulate prolific flowering.

• Prune strategically: Trim in spring to prioritize new growth, where blooms thrive.

• Pair with classics: Complement Noisette roses with clematis or jasmine for layered colour and fragrance.

Versatile Garden Drama

• Focal grandeur: Install as a standalone centrepiece in lawns or formal parterres.

• Architectural contrast: Let winter frost highlight its sculptural form once blooms fade.

• Commercial appeal: Elevate hotel courtyards or public parks with its stately presence.

A marriage of heritage and innovation, the Charleston Rose Obelisk transforms vigorous climbers into disciplined works of art—perfect for those who cherish history, horticulture, and timeless beauty
