An Absolute Gem in the Garden!

I purchased the 'Macmillan Nurse' rose last season, and it has quickly become one of my absolute favorites. The blooms are simply exquisite—large, old-fashioned rosettes in a pure white/soft cream color that stand out beautifully against the dark, glossy foliage.
What impressed me most is its resilience. It is highly disease-resistant and has thrived even in a spot with partial shade, which is often tricky for roses. The bush has a lovely, neat habit, making it perfect for the front of the border. It also has a delicate, sweet fragrance that is noticeable but not overpowering. Knowing that it was named in honor of the incredible Macmillan nurses makes growing this beautiful rose even more special. Highly recommended for both beginner and experienced gardeners!

Very reliable.

I have this rose for 4 years now. And she still amazes me. Very healthy, she was neglected and suffered a hard cut back mid spring in 2024, grew back, then I dug her out last year during a hot summer to transparent to my new homex she went through shock and yet managed to recover and bloom in the same year. This year she is already with a lot of growth. She is very resilient and reliable.

A perfect little rose

I am so happy with this rose. I bought it potted and have had it in a relatively small pot since early august. It's now very late November and it has not stopped flowering the whole time. Even now, amid cold winds, driving rain and a spattering of snow, it's trying to bloom. The fragrance is light but gorgeous, and the colour is a warming creamy, peachy white. The leaves are beautiful too and it's the healthiest rose I have (and I do have several). A little wonder.
