These varieties release a pleasant perfume that, while not overwhelming, is consistently present and easily enjoyed, especially when you pause to appreciate their blooms. The scents can range from classic rose and fruity notes to spicy or tea-like aromas, each contributing its own unique character. These roses are perfect for planting near seating areas, doorways, or along pathways, inviting you to lean in and savour their charming perfume. They strike an excellent balance between visual beauty and a satisfying aromatic experience, making them a popular choice for many gardeners. To help these roses produce their best scent, ensure they are planted in a sunny spot with good air circulation and well-drained, fertile soil. Regular watering during dry spells and an application of a balanced rose feed will support vigorous growth and encourage abundant, beautifully scented flowers throughout the season.
